Saw Two-stroke Lover, The Minorities, and and Agent Orange @daplaygroundmaui last night. Two-stroke and Agent Orange were pretty good, but man, who knew the best punk rock band in the world right now is on Maui. @theminorities808 rock so hard. I love these guys!

Just got back from the wonderful @hawaiisongwritingfestival on the Big Island of Hawaii. It`s always great to see old friends and make new ones. I come home inspired and in awe of the amazing talent out there. Much Aloha to the wonderful Brotman family who pour their hearts into this event. Mahalo nui loa!
Just built a ribbon microphone from @diyrecordingequipment. It was an easy build with only eight solder points, but but getting the end caps off and the electronics in the housing was much harder than I expected. Only limited time to play with it, but it sounds good to these ears. I can see blending the guitar sound with a dynamic or condenser mic. It`s s my first ribbon, so it will be fun to experiment with.
